Bharat Hotels Limited irrevocably lost its franchise right for a Blue Elephant restaurant in the Intercontinental Hotel of New Delhi.

 Both Bharat Hotels Limited and the Intercontinental Hotel of New Delhi have been advised that the franchise contract is irrevocably terminated on January 25, 2005, with immediate effect.

 The Blue Elephant Group hereby informs all its customers that since January 26, 2005 the Blue Elephant Group is neither involved nor responsible for the restaurant
operated illegally by Bharat Hotels Limited under the name "Blue Elephant" within the premises of the Intercontinental Hotel of New Delhi. Civil suits are being served on Bharat Hotel Limited in this respect.

 The Blue Elephant Group apologies for any inconvenience caused.
